DaDude Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 Why would utorrent try to send an email? I came across a warning from ZoneAlarm pro firewall that it had detected ut. trying to send an email sometime during the night (while it was downing). I , of course, refused it. Has anyone else come across this? !!!!!!!!!!!!! My mistake, with more diligence i discovered FAQ on this. Why is it still working after i refused permission though?
rayray Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 I am having the same issues, once it tried to sent email, and I allowed, my torrent just stopped and restart to download again. I find it funny. I had removed the Firewall -> Expert setting to monitor it but my download speed is affected.
ajones81 Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Let me guess, ZoneAlarm once again, right?
rayray Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 I am new to utorrent, move from bitcomet to utorrent recently. Look like Zonealarm Pro have an issue with utorrent. SIGH!Should I changed the Zonealarm Pro to other firewall program? which firewall program is recommended to work with utorrent?
Firon Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Zone Alarm has an issue with lots of things...Uh, Comodo firewall works well. Outpost too.
