I dunno about you guys, but when I created the Finnish translation, I picked the flag somewhere from the web by google image search, 'cause I'm not so handy with paint (or any other image processing tool). I assume that at least some of translators have done so too, which explains why the flags are so different.

vebero,

maybe keep proportionality of symbols inside the flag (brazil).

I think it look interestingly and nicely, but can be problem make another else if you didn't make it.

Simple flags are easy to make.

Lord Alderaan,

what are you think about it?

My personal preference is the whole flags by EMC.

Not all flags look nice transformed into a raised circle. And the classic flags are easier/quicker recognizable. And indeed if people add languages its probably easier if they don't have to do any special effects :)

They do look flashy though Vebero can't deny that :)

I've updated cdlist with emc's latest version.

Actually (2008-07-07 01:10 CEST) ut.de hosts rectangular flags.

But if schnurlos prefer circular flags, I think it is good idea to his link has this version.

We must to wait for schnurlos's answer.
