prolifik Posted January 4, 2008 Report Posted January 4, 2008 I previously had Azureus Vuze installed but then I recently found out about uTorrent and install it. Then when I found out that uTorrent is better, I decided to uninstall Azureus. However, after I did that the problem I have is that I can't download/open torrent files anymore.I'm using Windows Vista and Mozilla Firefox. When I try to download a torrent file, this is what I get:"File.torrent could not be opened, because the associated helper association does not exist. Change the association in your preferences."I've tried changing the file association and changing the default program that opens .torrent files but it doesn't solve the problem. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

prolifik Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Posted January 4, 2008 I guess I mislooked the thing about file associations with Firefox. As soon as I removed .torrent from Download Actions, it worked. Thanks a lot!
