taxman1913
I have a 2.04 GB torrent that has been downloading for a week (on and off) and has just a single piece left. I notice that there are a large number of peers with similar IP addresses - all 38.100.xx.xx. The program keeps banning these addresses when this piece fails the hash check. However, more of them keep appearing, and they will probably never all be banned. I am convinced that this whole group of addresses needs to be banned for me to finish downloading the torrent. Is there a way to do this manually? Is there a way to ban the client they are using? Thanks for reading this and any advice you have.
DreadWingKnight
use ipfilter to ban big ranges.there won't ever be a right-click and ban

taxman1913
Thank you so much. My suspicions were correct about that range of IP addresses, and your solution worked perfectly.
jewelisheaven
Unfortunately for you you'll keep getting pinged by them for activity for the next couple of days. :/ Also DWKnight's point stands and has stood since inception of uT. If you notice peers exhibiting strange behaviour or common characteristics, feel free to place them in ipfilter, and you can reload it (Ctrl-Shift-R I think it is, you'll have to check µManual below) which should take care of them immediately
