Daeman Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 This Just In...DO NOT Copy, Unpack OR Install ANYTHING you have downloaded BEFORE RESTARTINGApparently Utorrent dosen't uncheck ANY of the files it's currently uploading, and anything you will copy WILL BE CORRUPTED.To avoid this just click Remove, Restart, and then you can move files... I know... it sucksPS: I really hope someone can add a fix for this bug in the next update. DISCLAIMER(I added this this topic to Trubleshooting instead of Found Bugs so people that have similar problems could see it)
DreadWingKnight Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 Excuse me, what? What re you talking about?
jewelisheaven Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 ... he's high on absinthe DWKnight.
jewelisheaven Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Firon I think he gets his jollies out of making any user remove their torrent(s) by mistake thinking they should listen to the incomprehensible ramblings of a guy named "Daeman" before thinking about what it is he's actually trying to say.
Switeck Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 Probably has a file/media indexer on his system that's causing the corruption.
jewelisheaven Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 In that case, Daeman IF you would like help to get rid of your program incompatibilities with uT, feel free to follow Ultima's How-To and post the requested information below
Daeman Posted January 11, 2008 Author Report Posted January 11, 2008 From what I understand you probably think I posted this just to screw around.... Just for the record I DO NOT post anything unless it's genuineAND TO jewelisheaven : I do not take plesure from making people feel misarable (even if you apparently do) THIS POST WAS A GENUINE PROBLEM and the only one who came with a good solution was Switeck thanks...you're the BEST
Switeck Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Hostile software corrupting files isn't exactly within uTorrent's realm to stop....Unless you want uTorrent constantly hashing every file and trying to redownload them if 'damage' is detected.
