brutusmaximus
I was downloading a torrent when my router (WRT54G) was reset by my brother. I am back online now but all trackers from all torrents say that they are offline and DHT status is either 0 or waiting to login. My port is forwarded. My download and upload speeds are both 0.0. I have version 1.7.5 running on Windows Vista. Any help would be greatly helpful.
jewelisheaven
waiting to login usually signifies your port is NOT forwarded. Double check the mapping wasn't reset after the router was rebooted.
brutusmaximus
I know that my port is forwarded properly but I don't know what is wrong?
jewelisheaven
Well then the next step would be to verify you have gone through the Setup Guide and that you don't have some settings which may have been mangled on your computer due to patch tuesday or on your router which may be overriding your port forwarding preferences. Verify your LAN IP (from ipconfig /all) matches your destination IP and that you even have a valid LAN IP (Linksys normally respond to 192.168.1.1)
isupmr
Have you installed the microsoft's updates KB941644 and KB943385 one of these puppies screwed my downloading uninstalled them and it works fine. I think it's probably the first one causing the hassle but haven't tested it yet.
brutusmaximus
That is most likely it since I did just install the latest Windows updates. Thanks for the info.
Firon
Resetting your net.max_halfopen will probably fix it.
