ok guys i have read all of the things about port forwarding and that. i have set a static ip and everything but still i have the yellow triangle i have a cable connection so it should be going fast, this is not the case.

i use avast antivirus 4.7 pro

the modem/router is a motorola sbg 900.

(it is a wireless connection to my comp)

what do i do, i want faster download speeds

K ... those aren't the speedtest results, but that IS a speedy 5Mbit/1.5Mbit connection you've got :D What you should make sure of is that you followed http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Motorola/SBG900/Utorrent.htm and that your LAN IP (obtained from start->run->cmd->ipconfig /all) matches the destination LAN IP Address under the Port Forwarding setup.

If you are still having troubles, could you append the post below with steps you have already tried in-order so those who follow can continue your train-of-thought?

i have done all of that, i have set a static ip and have port forwarded it properly (in the modem page) but i am still getting the yellow triangle, i have done other things that i thought would help too (such as changing connections and max connections)

is there a way of changing all of the settings back to what they originally were (factory) and starting again?

i am just completely out of ideas

sure you can go to where the settings are stored (with uT closed) and delete settings.dat and settings.dat.old

I think though there is another software which is conflicting. Are you running any Internet Security Software, Firewall, Suite, etc? If you're not sure feel free to post the HiJackThis log mentioned in Ultima's How-To.

Well you are running Avast AV. You should turn off Nero Scout's indexing features to keep you from having "error: File access denied" errors. Google Desktop Search is listed under Incompatible Software for that same reason. Other than that your background services are clean. Farther up the only thing I was questioning was tfswctrl, but that is related to HP Packet Writing software for your dvd burner. It appears other than those incompatibilities and maybe some permissions in your Avast Web / Email scanner... (You also have a McAfee Spam Killer... do you need both?) and verify if you are running windows firewall that you have the option in uT to enable the automatically added rule.
