(Got an old PIII 800MHz with 256kb RAM. Win 98SE, IE 6.0. Actual max download speed is 3.5MB/s, upload speed is about 1/3 of that) /(I have disabled DHT as suggested in other threads. No luck...) Firon
9x is limited to 100 max connections. You must change a registry to go higher, the maximum being 512.http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#What_are_.C2.B5Torrent.27s_system_requirements.3F

XXXX
Ok, found it.Have clicked my way to "MSTCP". Clicked "Edit" ---> "New" ---> "String Value". Named it: "MaxConnections", I've set the value to: "512".Have I got right? Is "512" the optimal value? Do I need to reboot, for the changes to take effect?/
Firon
512 is the maximum value that you can use. It's a hard-coded limit in the OS.You'll have to reboot for it to take effect. And don't forget you have to cap your upload speed to 80% of your maximum to prevent choking your connection.
