My system :

Windows XP x64 SP 2

AMD 3600+ dual core

3 Go memory

Reproduce bug :

1 - All download finished (or stop manually)

2 - Iconize uTorrent in the tray bar

3 - Right button on the Icon of uTorrent in the Tray bar, make Close

Result :

a process named "utorrent.exe" must still be active in the task manager

The memory usage of its process will increase into the time from 3000 K to no limit (10 Mo per minute on my PC)

Well, of course I've read that page, and I know some recommandations are not respected on my PC, for example in Hijackthis, I have this 3 lines :

C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NetworkAccessManager\bin\nSvcIp.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NetworkAccessManager\bin\nSvcLog.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NetworkAccessManager\bin\nSvcAppFlt.exe

And even it is not a crash, I have no .dmp file.

But the bug appends after closing utorrent... while executing, it has no problem at all.

----------------------

One more information, maybe helpfull.

After such a failure, next time utorrent is restarted, all files are "Checked" (meaning files are maybe corrupted)
