Providence Posted January 12, 2008 Report Share Posted January 12, 2008 Up until about a week ago Utorrent was working perfectly, but recently everytime I attempt to enter a link in the add torrent to URL thingy, the bar fills up and a message which says "Error 'offline (timed out)' while downloading URL'. Even if I click on the torrent link, it still doesn't work. I get a few peers, but no seeds. Is there any remedy to this problem? Thanks in advance. You should re-adjust your net.max_halfopen back to defaults or repatch tcpip.sys . . . Unless of course you don't have a maximum upload set Are you uploading consistently at or near your max upload speed (change to speed tab and scale back to 5 minutes or 30 seconds -- you will see a relatively horizontal line)?
