Apathy
On using utorrent, at first all appears to be fine. Downloading and uploadnig begins as normal but after ten or twenty minutes, any internet connection vanishes. The Wireless network list claims that there are none within range and the only way to get it back is to switch the router off, unplug my Belkin N1 USB adapter and start again. Can anyone help? I'm not certain which firmware I'm running at the moment, or if that's a possible solution. Everything I've found online seems to be about v5 and other problems, so I'm not sure what to do. jewelisheaven
You should try turning down global and per torrent settings under Ctrl-P -> BitTorrent to 1/4 of their current values... What are you currently set as? Note that wired connections can choke after 100 connections, wireless shouldn't be expected to even handle HALF of that. Apathy
Thankyou, that seems to have done the trick. I reduced the number of global connections from 100 to 30 and peers per torrent to 15. Has been downloading now for a couple of hours with no problems. Firon
You can flash DD-WRT onto it and make it work better.
