rkoze816
I have a problem with downloading torrents. My internet goes through an external server at my university and my friend in the computer system says that it is impossible to remove the external block on the internet, so portforwarding seems to be out of the question. My question is, is it? My information is: Please let me know what else I need to give. I really would appreciate any help that I would be able to receive. I know that this may be a difficult situation so that you in advance for any light that anyone would be able to shed on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Ultima
Select xx/512k in the Speed Guide (or maybe xx/384k or xx/256k if the connection is shared). Additionally, disabling DHT might be a good idea just in case you overload the network hardware (again, assuming the connection is shared). Ultima
http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/index.htmlHow does a torrent from here run? In all likelihood, your connection provider (the university) throttles BitTorrent, in which case there isn't much you can do about it.
