gatty7
I ma getting the error message "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" inthe Tracker status field when trying to download. The only way around this is by opening my firewall which I do not want to do.Is there any other way around this without opening up my firewall. Thanks
DreadWingKnight
So you don't want to let your software make the connections it NEEDS to make in order to function?
Firon
Your firewall is blocking ut. You OBVIOUSLY have to allow ut to make connections. It's like closing the garage door with your car still inside. You have to open it to leave. Grimnebulin
I have the same problem, only I don't have any firewall at all. I'm not behind a proxy either. Can you help me?
jewelisheaven
Does it happen on either of the test torrents in the How-To? If yes, then there's SOMETHING blocking connections. If no, then it's the tracker. You either don't have access or it is down.
