evasiveart
I run the latest ver of uTorrent on a client PC on a squid proxy with HTTP or HTTPS (I cant figure out, it doesn't ask for a password/user to connect to the proxy on the client) protected LAN network. I've tried adding OpenOffice/Ubuntu torrents but the client shows the number of Peers and Seeders on the torrent but is unable to start the download. The trackers are also "working" but in the Peers tab in the details window there are no peers listed. Please help me bypassing the squid proxy! thanks.Check out the screenshot. http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/5690/screenwc1.jpg
jewelisheaven
Does uT work without the proxy settings configured? If yes, you need to fix your proxy setup. I've never used it, so I tried searching.. you should have some luck if you made it by reaching some of the returned search results. Sorry :/
Firon
Can't do peer communication over the proxy, unless it supports HTTP CONNECT (and you'd need to use 1.8 to test that out).
