masterpo
Hey, I'm using version 1.7.5 and the problem is when I am seeding or dling, the incoming connection starts yellow triangle then goes green, then back to yellow triangle, and so on back & forth. I am using a router, but the port forwarding test is showing up good.- It's not the Bit defender firewall, cause I closed that down and it still does the same thing.- router firmware is up to date.- utorrent preferences should be correct since I've used the guide on this site.- I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still no change.Any other suggestions on what could be causing this? Thanks
DreadWingKnight
If it alternates between yellow and green, that means you're not retaining connections to peers that attempt to connect to you.If it stays green for measurable amounts of time, the issue is with the swarm rather than your setup. masterpo
Yeah its definitely not staying green most of the time, so what could do about fixing the alternating between yellow and green and retaining the connections more gooder?Or I'm guessing it doesn't really matter since seeders/leechers are connecting to me
jewelisheaven
Change ISPs? Sounds like ISP mangling to me. Do you notice in those instances where the peer will not stay connected for more than 30 seconds? The only indicator of change going from Yellow from Green denotes uT detected an INCOMING connection ("I" flag on Peers tab). It's useful but not always correct. Switeck
ComCast is intentionally breaking high-bandwidth and/or long-duration connections automatically, ESPECIALLY BitTorrent (and Gnutella) traffic!
