cant manage speed???

i have 1.7.5 version

first i used xp end utorrent everything is ok but my new computer i had install vista ultimate 64bit and i cant manage the speed down and up

i mean when i give in the settings only download 200kb so it dont do that it download full power 400kb or more the same is with up i can say it what i want it upload full power what my connection have

coz i want to handle it when i chat or call some poeple from iternet and i dont want to close utorrent

have someone the same problem or know why?????????

next day i will try the version 1.6.1 but if some have solution please tell me thx

You want to make sure you have "limit local peers" checked if you want to MAKE SURE of those speeds... if you downgrade to 1.6 none of the dedicated support staff here will help you. And you should upgrade to 1.7.6, you can be crashed remotely if someone connects to a swarm and spoofs an extra-large clientid.

It's understandable that many people don't know about this new feature...especially if they have auto update enabled in uTorrent.

Limit Local Peers has been in since.. 1.7.2 right? I upgraded from 1065 to 4602 ...but in any case it's been around for 8 months. Sure if people don't keep actively aware of the CHANGELOG, but ... it's human curiosity to poke at things. Maybe they'd have seen it in Preferences?
