iLaVaBoY Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Hi guys, im having some trouble with uTorrent...on my laptop. My port is forwarded (green light). But i still get this problem: Speeds per peer uploading to me won't go over 0.6 kB/s.At the bottom of uTorrent it says "Download Limited". I dont have any firewall blocking or anything .. but i just noticed that my speeds were garbage and found out that this was the case .. Absolutely all the seeders were uploading at 0.6 kB/s or less ..My ISP is ACANAC.net, I don't suppose they throttle BT Traffic do they ?Does anyone know a solution to this problem ? Thanks for any help
jewelisheaven Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Download limited shows when you set your upload limits leecher-like, read as: lower than they should. What are your limits set at
iLaVaBoY Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 It is currently at 15 kB/s ... is that too low ? Thanks for the reply.I will just increase it up Hopefully this helps ...EDIT: It seems to help after i've increased it ... now it is 15 KB/sThanks !! Also anyone got any other suggestions to improve my speeds ?
jewelisheaven Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 15 will not trigger it. What was your upload on the torrent set to?Edit: Generally speaking, if you have a download limit also, it will divide total allowable by connected peers, so if you have 50 connections and your limit is 25 KiBps down then its natural to see those figures.. Something was still screwy.
iLaVaBoY Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 IT seems to have fixed the problem when i increased it from 10 to 15 kB/s
jewelisheaven Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Glad to hear But Download Limited will still not trigger on the values you specified
