jewelisheaven Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 If you have no router interim between ISP -> modem -> computer you can't set your IP. You rely on the ISP to give it to you. Make sure the modem doesn't have a firewall... You can check this through the start->run->cmd->ipconfig /all.Go to the default gateway IP in your browser and see what options your modem has for configuration.
