mxclouti
I'm seeding a new torrent on a private tracker. My ISP is advertising 800kbps upload. The total upload speed is topping at 100kbps in uTorrent. What could be the problem? I've tried a lot of different settings, cannot get more than 100kbps.Is the problem Vista, the ISP, uTorrent? Thanks for you help.
jewelisheaven
You are bitten by the units bug which isn't a problem. ISPs advertise in Kbps. µTorrent and Windows and other applications use KiBps. Since there are 8 bits in 1 Byte, you're uploading as much as you can Man I wish 800 Kbps advertised gave me 800 Kbps upload ... you're not in the USA are you, heh
