Incorrent Ratio?

Anyone else having incorrect ratio problems? I created a torrent for an iso file (4.36 gb). I am the only person with this file/the only person seeding. My daughter downloaded it. I could see her in my "peers" and she could see me. Yet after her download finished the ratio for this file in utorrent was listed as 0.001!!! Is there something I am missing? Math really wasn't my best subject, but I think the ratio should say 1.000....

Ratio means Upload: Download, you only uploaded 4 MiB out of 4360. When you keep it running and upload 4.36 GiB your ratio will say 1.0 .

Okay... now my lack of math skills are REALLY showing.... Where did you get that I uploaded 4 Mib out of 4360? Why didn't she download 4360 (4.36 gb)? When I download stuff that says it's 4gig, or whatever, it shows I downloaded that amount....She downloaded the whole file. Where does the 4 come from???

The "ratio" numbers are from making a RATIO of the DOWNLOADED and UPLOADED amounts. Such that ONLY when your uploaded (in this case 4360 MB) equals your downloaded will you get 1.0.

I know my daughter downloaded the WHOLE file.

I was the only person seeding (I was the only person with the file).

I was the only person in her "peers" she was the only person in my "peers".

For her to receive the whole file, would I not have to upload the whole file (not just 4mb) like you claim???

If you two were the only peers on that swarm and you do not show uploaded 4.36 GB that explains it. Can you take a picture of the top main torrent pane with that file selected (feel free to censor the filename), but please have it selected so that the detailed information in the lower pane is seen and upload it somewhere?
