Utorrent wont' let me upload after i've downloaded

I saw a similar thread but my routers different so i'm not sure what it could be

it uploads until the download is complete, I'm part of a community where if I don't get a 1.0 ratio I get kicked out = /

but after its downloaded it just won't upload, it doesn't even say 0 kb it just says nothing, but its got the upload icon on it (the green square with the white arrow pointing upwards)

OS: Windows XP

Security Software Installed: Windows Firewall, Avast (but I think thats a antivirus = /)

Modem: ...

Router: BT home hub

ISP: BT

Connection type: Broadband, 2 meg

DO NOT LEAVE UPLOAD @ unlimited! A search for Bt Homehub will give you some idea of settings you'll need to use. You don't even need 100 TOTAL connections on 2 Mbit, of which BT gives you 1.4 down for torrents. To verify download openoffice or slackware from the How-To. You can sustain that download, depending on the shaping profile BT puts you on. You also need to forward your port in the homehub, it's a router+modem.

c/o another helpful user, you don't have to muck around with ipconfig to get to the modem+router http://bthomehub.home should take you right there I love it when users help users.
