jewelisheaven Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 DO NOT LEAVE UPLOAD @ unlimited! A search for Bt Homehub will give you some idea of settings you'll need to use. You don't even need 100 TOTAL connections on 2 Mbit, of which BT gives you 1.4 down for torrents. To verify download openoffice or slackware from the How-To. You can sustain that download, depending on the shaping profile BT puts you on. You also need to forward your port in the homehub, it's a router+modem.
Switeck Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Speed Guide (CTRL+G), and choose the xx/256k setting....And even that may be too high for your connection!
jewelisheaven Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 c/o another helpful user, you don't have to muck around with ipconfig to get to the modem+router http://bthomehub.home should take you right there I love it when users help users.
