vagabond
After a full format of my hard disk the torrents are now located in a totally different path/folder than before. As a result, mtorrent in the "status" area says "Error: cant open torrent file...", meaning it is searching for the file in the old folder. Please advise, thanks in advance,
Ultima
http://www.utorrent.com/migration_guide.phpBasically, you need to right-click the torrent job, Advanced > Set download location..., and you need to do it for each torrent. vagabond
I have already tried that but I am afraid there is no response,Although I am able to select any download location I like, when pressing "ok" the torrent does not changes to it, P.S. I am using version 1.7.
Ultima
...? At the least, it should stop showing the error...
jewelisheaven
I'd tell you to use B.F.E. (ultima's awesome editor) but I don't think you'd feel comfortable with it.What you need to do is change the strings which include full paths in the subkeys of [ROOT] to reflect the new folder/drive structure. BFE is an advanced user tool and as such come with little additional support but you can ask in here and I'll try to answer your questions should you go that route. If you do not wish to / feel up to, your recourse is to remove and readd the torrent job into uT. This will auto-create the torrent in the NEW torrent storage directory. Basically what you're doing with BFE is to repath internally in the resume.dat what is listed in Ctrl-P -> Other since that's not retroactive.
