jewelisheaven
AFAIK with my limited knowledge of cellular networks, you can't forward on them. If you're able to do it with other filesharing programs you may be overloading the connection and as such are being throttled or shaped. What settings are you using in the Speed Guide? jewelisheaven
Torrents are generally more variable than gnutella networks due to the nature of client configuration. To verify you CAN receive speeds that fast with bittorrent traffic, check out the sample known working torrent swarms from the How-To. Both OpenOffice and Slackware will max your download. jewelisheaven
I have no idea what Speed Guide Analyzer is and truthfully half of those settings are greek to me. I was talking about the Speed Guide (Ctrl-G) in uT. The reason to use them is to see HOW MUCH you can DOWNLOAD how QUICK. What kind of speeds do you see in uT when you run either of those torrents. xocsucram
never heard of evdo but one thing i noticed about your specs up there was the MTU, it should be 1500 like it says for best use.an your trying to download somethign with almost 2x as many peers than seeders, thats never good. Switeck
Many ADSL and probably wireless connections as well cannot handle a MTU set to 1500. They typically require MTU being set to 1460 or lower.
