littledog
Every time i try to connect to a file it says : (no connection could be made because target machine actively refused it.) I'm not sure what happened one day it was working and the next day it would not connect to anything. I have not done anything to the computer, no new programs or changes. Any help with this problem would be greatThankslittledog
Ultima
http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/index.htmlDoes it happen for torrents from here?
littledog
Not sure what to do with this site, but i know that every other program that i use to download works great. But when i try to download any torrents with any program i get the same message. Do you think it could be part of a router issue, even that i have not changed any settings and that i was down loading at the time that it quit. It looks like it has just stopped for what ever reason.
Switeck
Bell Canada/Sympatico ISP by any chance? They've recently started disrupting BitTorrent traffic.Try the website link offered again...get the OpenOffice Windows version torrent from them and use uTorrent to try to download it. Tell us if it downloads at all, if it downloads slowly, and if you're firewalled while downloading it.
littledog
I have tried downloading from the link provided and it seems to work fine, also getting good speeds and is steady. But when i try to download any other torrent starts to download then it comes up with a tracker problem (no connection could be made because target machine actively refused it.) not sure why the other link would work and nothing else seems to. jewelisheaven
If the OpenOffice torrent returns that, you have security software which needs to be reset, or shot. Since this seemed to happen after the update, might I recommend my post as it gives a rather thorough explanation of steps to follow.
