lixxy
Help! My pc completely crashes when I open up utorrent. I got asked to upgrade to the latest version of utorrent the other day, which I did. And it worked fine. Following day, opened up utorrent and my pc crashed. Uninstalled the program and re-installed to see fix any possible error with the upgrade. Worked fine that day. Then opened utorrent today and my pc crashed again.Windows gave me the following error message when my pc restarted:Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3 Locale ID: 2057Additional information about the problem: BCCode: a BCP1: 00000000 BCP2: 00000002 BCP3: 00000001 BCP4: 81FA4DAE OS Version: 6_0_6000 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 768_1Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini012408-01.dmp C:\Users\mr magik\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-65328-0.sysdata.xml C:\Users\mr magik\AppData\Local\Temp\WERCDF9.tmp.version.txtIm running Vista. Can anyone help?? jewelisheaven
Can you turn off "automatically restart on BSOD"? I don't know where it is in Vista, but it's under System Properties -> Advanced tab -> Startup And Recovery Settings. :/
Neoanarchist
I am having the same problem, whenever I start uTorrent, it runs fine for a while (maybe 20 - 30 minutes) then it restarts my computer. The BSOD says BAD_POOL_CALLER I think and that's the only thing that wasn't a generic message regarding the computer restarting. If I need to post the 0xWhatever parameters let me know. I just don't really wanna cause my computer to crash again right now and write them down. Also:This was happening on both the latest 1.8 build 7928 (currently using) and on the latest stable 1.7.6.I am on Windows XP Pro SP2
jewelisheaven
:/ That sounds like NIC drivers I think?? Or more generic device driver conflict... Search results 1234.That's all I got without more information.
