electricsashimi
Can I choose the peers I connect to? SPecially I want to connect to only the seeders, and i don't want to connect with leechers.I use a private BT tracker, and usually there are alot more seeds than leechers. So I was wondering if i can only connect to the seeders.(then i would change back to seed back)
DreadWingKnight
No.And connecting only to seeds won't improve your speeds.
AllGamer
this should be in the Feature Request area as far as i know, there are no torrent software, that provides this funtionalitywhich i'm very interested about.sometimes i see some Seeds or Peers, with extremely nice upload speed, and i want to only connect to them, but the list keeps refreshing every X amount of minutes, and i lose them for a while, until the next refresh, and so on.So it'll be nice to be able to manually select to only connect to some specific host, instead of randomly to anyone that talks to you
jewelisheaven
It's been rejected/denied/trashed before....ALOT
Ultima
If indeed no other clients allow this (I'm not sure), then I'm not surprised, because it's a dumb way to allow the swarm to be killed. All this will do is simply slow the entire swarm down. What good does that do? None.
Switeck
If you can't stay connected to the "good" seeds and peers, then chances are the problem's on your end. Blocking MORE peers+seeds to stay connected to the "good" ones won't solve that problem.
