harvester Posted January 25, 2008 Report Share Posted January 25, 2008 so I have utorrent for quite some time now and because i had to use a proxy server for a couple of weeks I changed the port but...I cannot find the right one back. i am not the administrator of our LAN network but all i need is how CAN i find a port without screwing the network adapter?all help can be useful(A)do I need to reinstall Utorrent so it will automaticly search for the best port?PLEASE KEEP POSTING EVEN IF IM offline(a)THNX IN ADVANCE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jewelisheaven Posted January 26, 2008 Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 Uhm, did you backup your settings? If you had a proxy setup you can connect to the proxy as before. The port you use probably depends on the proxy type, which does not relate to your uT setup unless you're using 1.8 as peer communications through proxies was incomplete or non-functional in the 1.7 line. Verifying you are setup correctly and able to download at expected speeds would be a good place to start again.
