anoxan
in other words, let ut handle ip bans. none of those apps do anything more than ut does. pg blocks ad servers, but so does firefox with adblock plus.why do people think they can hide their ip, anyway..it's like spraying maguai with water
Switeck
You are best off to use ipfilter.dat in uTorrent instead of running more programs which do the same job...often AFTER uTorrent tries to make a connection.
sn1per
First, thanks to all who replied your input is very much appreciated ;0)Anoxan, I am asking for the simple reason that i presume ipfilter and the other programs are for blocking malicious and unwanted connections, please inform me if i'm wrong after all that is why i asked for advice. And i use Socksify to hide my ip which is a SOCKSv5 compatible anonymous HTTP proxy server "Authenticated Firewall Traversal" because it provides secure authentication and application-layer support for firewall traversal. I am not naive enough to think that i am totally secure, but every extra security helps. * to be anonymous online * to hide your IP address, making you untraceable * to route around temporary network outages * to protect your privacy while traveling abroad
