KPizzle
I looked at that thread that shows the list of ISPs that filters torrent downloads, and it says mine doesn't filter torrents, but for some reason my speeds are really, really slow. I have all my ports forwarded correctly, but I can still download at a max of only 150 KB/s, and I have a 5 MBit connection. It doesn't matter what time of day I download, the speed never goes higher then 150 KB/s. It even does this with usenet.I'm using Charter cable internet and my connection is 5 Mbit. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!
jewelisheaven
Have you tried using 1.8 self-encapsulated? It includes workarounds for shaping which works in some cases. You may have to limit your connections more or disable some features (How-To, post #2)... you may be triggering automated countermeasures based upon internet presence. Switeck
Is your upload equally slow or worse?
