When a torrent has:

Seeds: 0 of 0 connected (1 in swarm)

I take this to mean that I am connected to 0 clients from the 0 that I am aware of. What I don't get is the 1. I think it means that the tracker is telling me that there is one seed, but in that case why don't I 'know' about that seed? i.e. why doesn't it say:

Seeds: 0 of 1 connected (1 in swarm)

Scrapes return totals of peers/seeds. Announces do this too I guess, but the more important thing is they return peers which can then be classified as peer/seed when you connect to them. You are connected to 0 clients in either case. The difference is NO seeds are detected in the first example. This may be due to super/initial seeding settings. The second example says what you're surmising, that you're connected to 0 clients of 1 returned seed from the peerlist.
