SilVR
I have read many posts here saying that you cannot use port triggering with uT. Could someone please give me a better idea as to why? I read that uT uses UDP for its listening. So I am assuming that it multicasts on its listening port. Couldnt you set the trigger port to be the listening port, and rather then opening a range of ports, open only the listening port so other peers can connect to you? DreadWingKnight
Port triggering doesn't work because there is no guarantee that the outbound communication will happen on the port you set to trigger the forward.UPnP/NAT-PMP or port forwarding will work. Port triggering won't work consistently.
