Leonord
eg:/NOHASHCHECK /DIRECTORY "SAVE PATH" ".TORRENT FILE TO OPEN"this would be really helpful when adding torrents already downloaded from command line.
jewelisheaven
More command line options would be useful sure. But that would require a re-write, or addition to main core functions. I agree more options should be available, but I don't see anything happening before the 1.9. So whatever line is after that... 2.0?
Leonord
jewelisheaven: you do realize that you know squat about programming and you are just spamming the forums with useless post yes?there's already a 'skip hash check' option at the torrent add dialog so it's just a matter of adding a parameter to some functions definitions and calls
jewelisheaven
I'm glad you appreciate my contribution. I do it to help others, like yourself. I say this because there have only been several increases in the command line parameters available. For 1.7 and 1.8 for instance, the additions made generally relate to the now-included installation routine and include "noinstall" "performinstall" "uninstall" "norun" "bringtofront" "logfile" and "launchbundledurl". Leonord
i do hope the developers won't look at this as a useless feature and will add it in 1.8.this feature allows automating utorrent in a more efficient manner.
DreadWingKnight
Feature freeze for 1.8 is in effect.
Duskeren
Any news on if this will come in the next version of utorrent?as stated here: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=46570 , i think a function like that (skip hashcheck commandline) will really fix my problems. Firon
There's no plans to add CLI options at the moment, but we will eventually.
Duskeren
It is such a simple command that would save the ass of so many people. the function to skip hashcheck is already in the app, its just a commandline call to it. really hope it will be added! thelittlefire
I'm still waiting for creation of torrents externally... You haven't given any reason not already specified to add this. And I'm sorry but your example situation is a niche case and well proves something about your setup is... broken."Simple" is easy to say, but usually hard to code. Duskeren
But why?It seems to such a damn simple thing to add, ass the function is allready there, just without a command line option.Would really appreciate if it were added, and seems a lot of people would.:-)

Firon
There's things with much higher priority than this. It's a nice-to-have, but I wouldn't count on seeing it anytime soon, since there's so many other things to do.

MisterRemote
I think it still isn't implemented?I really could need a way to enable skip hash check feature for autloaded torrents. So please add it to options dialog.
MisterRemote
I solved this meanwhile myself by automating the GUI. If you are still looking for auto add torrent with skip hash check option feel free to download and try out AutoAddTorrent:http://sourceforge.net/projects/autoaddtorrent/
