lalala123
For some reason my Utorrent is having a hard time connecting to seed/peers. it is downloading very slow.Every show green on the utorrent and port check is green too. I know it is not the rougher that I use because I been using the same one for a long time and there are other computers in my house using the same connection and they are downloading fine. The problem is with PC that I use. it is on wireless connection. The wireless USB that I use is ok too because I tried it in other system and it downloads fine. I tried installing and uninstalling the Utorrent but it didn't help. I can't reinstall windows because my computer is In Raid 0 and there is no way for me to back up a 1TB harddrive (2x500GB) thats almost full. here is whats in the process explorer. please help me see if there is anything wrong. I turned off the windows firewall and it didn't help too. Could it be a recent windows update thats preventing it?thanksProcess PID CPU Description Company NameSystem Idle Process 0 99.23 Interrupts n/a Hardware Interrupts DPCs n/a 0.38 Deferred Procedure Calls System 4 smss.exe 960 Windows NT Session Manager Microsoft Corporation csrss.exe 1152 Client Server Runtime Process Microsoft Corporation winlogon.exe 1176 Windows NT Logon Application Microsoft Corporation services.exe 1220 Services and Controller app Microsoft Corporation svchost.exe 1396 Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Microsoft Corporation svchost.exe 1444 Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Microsoft Corporation svchost.exe 1484 Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Microsoft Corporation svchost.exe 1620 Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Microsoft Corporation spoolsv.exe 1928 Spooler SubSystem App Microsoft Corporation lxcgpswx.exe 3916 Printer Status Window Interface svchost.exe 280 Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Microsoft Corporation schedul2.exe 328 Acronis Scheduler 2 Acronis avgamsvr.exe 368 AVG Alert Manager GRISOFT, s.r.o. avgupsvc.exe 400 AVG Update Service GRISOFT, s.r.o. jewelisheaven
The windows updates may slow down the rate you connect to peers if you used to have high changed settings. But in default configuration it has no effect. I don't see any programs which filter/mangle packets... How do you know you're not connecting to peers. Have you checked the OpenOffice torrents from the Setup Guide and How-To? Are you seeing error messages in the Status column or Tracker status field on the General tab?
