DreadWingKnight
Current is 1.7.7And it sounds like the rules in your firewall are for the old version.
Firon
Gotta update to 1.7.7, and with firewalls, you typically need to remove and re-add all rules for ut, because they like to silently block in-place upgrades.

Firon
What is your firewall and AV?
koolgiy
Uh, both Norton IS 2006. But its been on the fritz for some reason (ie: closing at startup, not working at all). Maybe the firewall (NMain.exe or something is running - access denied when trying to end process) is working in the background and is just not letting anything go by. MSN works - but oddly when I go to iTunes Music Store, that doesnt work either...
AllGamer
that message is only the tracker that is not letting you connect for some reason.try OpenOffice as a test, and see if it lets you connect
koolgiy
It wouldnt work either. But I found the source of the issue. Norton IS 2006 was corrupted, and the firewall was messed up too. It wasnt letting programs it usually lets by - actually work.I contacted Symantec, and they got me the 2007 version, so it works now.Sorry to waste everyones time
