DreadWingKnight Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 You're uploading pieces of the files you're downloading.
jewelisheaven Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 The totals listed in the General tab are for that torrent. Torrents allow you to share and ONLY share files which you are downloading.
maraya Posted February 1, 2008 Author Report Posted February 1, 2008 that mean, even it says uploading, it only uploading the file im downloading??not my other files in the computer?
maraya Posted February 1, 2008 Author Report Posted February 1, 2008 thanks;hmmm, that means, when i download, it the pieses of that file is uploaded by my computers, so other ppl downloading that file can get pieses from me too. so, download will be speed up. is this the theory.
jewelisheaven Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Yup your upload is someone else's download
maraya Posted February 2, 2008 Author Report Posted February 2, 2008 im not sure it is like that, coz, when i download, i get only 20-30kbps maximum speed. some times it goes down to 10-1kbps. if we are downloading parts of the files from diffrent locations this will be faster than this.so, its like this, if we assume we are downloading 100mb file, and if 10more ppl are downloading this file. the software can split the file, get the last part from the the once who hav the full file, get the midlle and first part from the peple who are downloading. so, if it is like that. then download speed will be more fasterIs torent working like tht, if not, we should try that. some times it may work
