jeffersonbarsoum Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Hey everyone. I'm new to the whole php thing. So I installed IIS 7 and I installed fastCGI support. I put the 3 php files i downloaded from rssatellite in the wwwroot folder. when I tried to access localhost/index.php, i got a blank page. when i tried /sandbox.php or rssatellite.php I got a php parsing error. I apologoze, I really have no idea what I'm talking about here. I've spent a few days trying to make this work, and I feel like the guy who tears his house apart to find a remote when I should just stop being lazy and change the channels on the tv. but i feel like ive made progress, just not sure if its good or bad. when i tried to access /index.php before i got a 404.3 error. but now i get a blank page. so im not sure if this is foward progress or backwards, but hey progess right?
jewelisheaven Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Why don't you use feeds which have the links to the torrents in them?
jeffersonbarsoum Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Posted February 4, 2008 I do. I have feeds for everything except one thing. This one thing I could only find on isohunt, btjunkie, or mininova. lol and lately ive been thinking its really not worth all this hassle, especially for one file a week. but i figure ive already done most of the work, now i just have to get it to work lol.
jewelisheaven Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 :/ I understand not giving up. Hopefully these can help you with rssatellite?http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=35046http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=34722http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=32083http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31447http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=30100Most of these deal with mininova, but as you said appending ?direct to the rss feed gets you a uT compatible feed For your own perusal should you decide to browse http://forum.utorrent.com/search.php?action=search&show_as=topics&keywords=rssatellite
jeffersonbarsoum Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Posted February 4, 2008 OK! Got the feed to work. Now when I double click on an item in the feed I get a dl screen! Yay! However, I can't seem to get anything to auto-download from the feed. Did I do something wrong?6:26 pm update:AND all fixed! thanks jewelish!
