Why doesn't µTorrent report me as a seeder when 100% files?

So i noticed on several occasions even though i have all the files 100% i'm still listed as a peer, rather than a seeder?

does it take a while for the tracker to list me as a seeder rather than as a peer?

like for example some of those dying torrents, still shows:

0(0) 2(5)

even when i've 100% of the files and "peering" to other people, instead of seeding?

tracker status is "normal" (blue) so it's not unreachable (red)

so i'm kinda trying to figure out how is that suppose to work.

in another similar scenario, with some other torrents then after like several hours!

it does properly shows me as a seed (or so i think)?

1(1) 0(5)

You never connect to yourself.

The connection numbers shown are based on your active connections, so while seeding, you will NEVER see anything but 0(x) in the seed column.

Trackers (usually) don't differentiate between seed and peer when sending out peerlists.
