Despina Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Ok so i have 3(20 seed and 21(109) peers and a d/l speed of 6.9 kB/s or less(upload at about 30 kbps or so).I've got the port forwarded correctly and that port opened to windows firewall. I dont think i have any other security programs that would do anything to it. My internet plan is a 24000kbps with iinet so i know the internet speed is not the problem and i can't see how the seed/leech ratio is slowing it either. Its been running like this for about 4 weeks or so. My connection button is constantly yellow and when i test the port it is saying it is not open.Any help would be appreciated and i apologise if i'm repeating an already answered topic(had a look and couldnt see any resolution to my problem). Also sorry if i sound noobish, lol my bf usually handles his stuff (but he told me he'd fixed it weeks ago... clearly not :-/)edit - just did a speed test 987 kbps d/l and 90kbps uploadso apparently my speeds are nowhere near what they are meant to be... i dunno anything about this bah
jewelisheaven Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 If it's forwarded, he missed something I see iinet from time to time, but generally as "I" incoming since i'm setup great. If you know how your network is setup, you can try to follow through my post as it mentions places between you and your ISP to check for forwarding problems. Are you sure it's not something simple like another software program filtering packets?? Are you running any security software or internet/worm protection or antivirus which has those features?? If that makes no sense to you could you go get HiJackThis and run a full scan as mentioned in the How-To and paste the results into a post below?
