Seed While [Default values]

I think it would be handy if the Avail. field were included in this test.

sure I'll seed while ratio is <= 101% but I'd like to be sure that there is at least one complete copy of the file available when I quit.

Avail. needs to be > 2.000 (because it drops by 1 when I quit)

I don't like crying when a seed stops and I don't want to make anyone else cry either.

should be an easy add on... What ya think???

Upon further inspection, reflection, this is in the wrong thread and you might as well

move this straight to the trash. seems it's an old thought. although liked it's not liked enough... :/ nevermind

Interesting request however 2.0 isn't necessary unless there isn't another seed on the torrent after you are done seeding... And considering super-seeders don't show up as a seed to the tracker :/ I do know there's some overhaul to the scheduler planned for 1.9, but in the meantime check out the changes for 1.8 :D You can find it in the announcements forum.

I looked @ announcements about 1.8... didn't seem to address my wish. oh well,

FYI (of course you know) The seed limit field is in Queueing (as misspelled in 1.7.7)

yeah... could logically be in scheduling.

When Lil ol me is seeding some random Torrent I found (hopefully returning a favor).

I Fantasize that this fabulous program uTorrent will stop using my pitiful bandwidth without screwing the next poor sap by leaving him at 97% or 02% or something, automatically...

Lets face it... No one wants to seed forever, some file that has limited interest and I'll admit that I stop seeding when ratios stall at .007 or not upload at all. I understand that I may be the next to last person in the world that wants a particular file. Or perhaps previous down loaders discover a file to be corrupt or misleading and stop seeding.

The "seed while ratio <=" defaults at 150% OK... and I can say how long I'm willing to seed, but say All the other seeds end their devotion just before I get to 150 or whatever I set it to... someone is going to cry when I stop and they still only have 69%

I'm sorry if I'm way off base, I don't understand super seeders or even how trackers track. I've not nor will likely ever publish a torrent so I don't care how it's done. but for probably two lines of code... One for the text box and one for the compare it could save much frustration of your users. compared to some of the other "fixes"... I must be just a pain in your @$$. :);)

You have better things to spend your time on. Thank you for all you've done.

you have a truly nice program and I am a whining biatch. Sincerely!!!

Sorry to bump this up, but I agree with tootallofwa.

I have lots of torrents where there are very few seeds. I really hate to let them die. Someone kept them alive for me and there will always be someone out there who will be very happy to find these torrents.

I'd like to seed below a certain ratio unless the number of seeds is very low.

From what I'm reading, this can't be done. In the meantime, I set the ratio very high, and delete any torrents that get to 1.5 or over and hve more than 10 seeds. A little tedious.

You have two options currently, neither of which would satisfy your request correct.

There is a proposed revamp for the Scheduler in 1.9 so keep up hope :)

OT: you know you can set the seed % for the torrent (or all torrents if you wish, but it would negate the usefulness of ETA)... to -1 for "always seed".
