jimmyshoes
Hi,Has anyone else had problems with slow download speeds when connecting via Three Mobile broadband in the UK? According to a speedcheck I should be connected at over 500kbps but I'm still experiencing very slow download speeds and I'm getting an error message that a firewall is limiting my traffic. I've tried disabling my local firewalls so I can only guess that Three are throttling my download. They tend to start very fast then slow down to a crawl after a few seconds. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions to help?Cheers
Switeck
And your upload is probably far less than 500 kilobits/sec max.Wireless connections are often PERMANENTLY FIREWALLED!

Ultima
Select the proper Speed Guide preset, and that's as best as you can do. As Switeck mentioned (which you should've read), you normally can't forward ports on wireless connections.
