yindevil13
Over the last week, utorrent has been giving me some problems and, after numerous attempts at tweaking it using the speed guide, I eventually just deleted the whole thing and started over with a fresh install. Apparently sometihng in the program had gotten corrupted, it was switching up my torrents with each other, installing them in the wrong directory, etc. That's all fixed now, but the new install of utorrent is trying to redownload all my old files even when they already exsist in the download folder. I want these torrents to run so I can seed them, but I don't want to have to redownload all those gigs of files just to seed again. Is there some way to make utorrent recognize that the files are already there so it will automatically seed when I start a torrent?Sorry if my question is a bit odd, but I'm not sure how else to put it. I'll be happy to answer and questions to help calrify the issue if anyone thinks they can help. THanks in advance.
torrero
stop the torrent, right-click, select force re-check.utorrent will pick your torrent up and jump to 100%, now seeding.
jewelisheaven
If it's not registering as 100%, then you need to stop, right click, set download location, and browse to the correct location... and be sure to click the file or folder
