pheonicks
Hi everyone, First of all thank you for creating such an intuitive and powerful yet small program.I've just upgraded to 1.1.3 and before that I was having nat errors off and on. I would of course see those in the status bar at the bottom just to the left of my upload speed. It seems though since I'v upgraded that, that it no longer exists. Was this moved or taken out? worbd
I'm wondering the same thing... I'd like to know if I have set up NAT correctly to allow for BT...
Ultima
It's still there for me, and appears to be there for other people as well:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?t=
worbd
Thanks man! I looked all over for it, but couldn't find it If it displays, "UPnP(port)", that means that my NATing worked, and that I'm on an "unrestricted" connection? What does "Network OK" as opposed to "UPnP(port)" mean? vurlix
Network OK means that incoming connections were made successfullyUPnP (port) means that a port was sucessfully mapped automatically on the routerUPnP (port) OK means that incoming connections were made successfully on the mapped port
worbd
Thanks! Great little program, this Quite easy to "get" most of it, but not everything is self-explanatory.Not sure if this is a bit off-topic, but does enabling UPnP on my DSL router mean that I won't have to set up NAT forwarding manually, and that it's supposed to "just work" without any tinkering? vurlix
Yep. If your router is UPnP compatible and utorrent successfully maps a port, then there is no port forwarding to configure on your router.
