cooperman100 Posted February 19, 2008 Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 I'm pretty new to this so hopefully someone can give me an idiots guide.I'm looking to get the best speed whilst dowloading through uTorrent. I've optimised the speed settings and seen an improvement. I'm still getting the yellow triangle.I've also downloaded PF Config to forward a port hoping this would be straight forward. Went through the various requirements but when I check the port I still get "Error: Port 42533 does not appear to be open".I could have possibly gone wrong with the TCP ports, UDP ports. I pressumed this was 42533, have I got this wrong? Are there general pc / router settings that I've got to activate prior to running PC Config? If so how do I do it? DreadWingKnight Posted February 19, 2008 Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 PFConfig just attempts to automate the steps given by the guides at portforward.comThe guides should be followed before pfconfig is used because some routers have more strict requirements about settings than others.
