Bobbias
Red arrows mean that the tracker is not online. uTorrent assumes a tracker is online until it actually checks and asks for peers. When it discovers that the site is down, it changes the arrow to red. Lucky for you, uTorrent has other ways to find people downloading a torrent. You are getting peers from that system, instead of the tracker. The torrent might word, but it's less likely to.
jewelisheaven
Torrent Icon status... like bobbias said, the tracker status error message will tell you more. You don't need to connect to the tracker 24/7 to get peers. Once you announce and get peers YOU CONNECT to others on that list, and OTHERS connect to YOU. This is the reason you should make sure you're forwarded correctly Network Status icon since TheShad0w's Explanation of why Firewalls are bad. Ultima
TheShad0w's Explanation of why Firewalls are bad.Not quite. It's his explanation as to why being in a firewalled state is bad -- not why firewalls themselves are bad

Switeck
If your firewall is blocking incoming connections from reaching uTorrent, then you cannot connect to ANYONE who is also firewalled...and that's often 80% of everyone on a torrent!
