rjol1
I have gotten fed up with trying to open a port. I've used portforward.com and my own expertise to try to solve the problem but I still cannot download/upload anything so I need your guys' help here.So as you know, I have had trouble opening a port. Now the problem started when I got a LinkSys BEFW11S4v4 router. Since then, I have not been able to forward any ports succesfully. The router is behind a modem (Qwest GT701) and that may be the problem but I'm not sure. Anyone know what is happening here? Ultima
http://www.qwest.com/internethelp/modems/gt701/index.html?option=advancedThe GT701 in combination with the BEFW11S4v4 is the problem. You're double-NAT'd. Take a look at the advanced port forwarding guide in the µTorrent user manual (second link in my signature) for more details and possible solutions. If nothing there helps, or it confuses you, feel free to ask for more help. rjol1
Thanks for the quick reply. So I tried disabling NAT through my modem but when I did, I could not acess any websites. My internet stopped responding. Is there anything else I can do?
