Firon
There is no such thing as a download booster, just malware that claims it is.
Harold
There is a program called "uTorrent Speed Booster" (yes with a regular "u", instead of a 'mu' (µ) maybe they didn't know how to type it?)It claims to do the following things: 1. Accelerate download speed 2. Automatic resuming of interrupted downloads 3. Validate checksum and remove files with errors detected 4. Smart scheduling of disconnection of PC from the Web when download tasks completed 5. Smart scheduling of computer shutdown when download tasks completedAll except 1 are already done by µTorrent to some extend (of course it doesn't delete corrupted files, it would just re-download the specific pieces that are broken)And I find point 1 rather questionableIf they had a way to contact them I'd confront them with these idiotic 'features'.. Switeck
And I certainly question this program's 2.5 MB size...on account of how much COULD be crammed in there!uTorrent itself is less than 300 KB in size.
Firon
It's just bogus software designed to trick you into installing adware or malware.
