This might seem to be a unnecessary feature, but I think its good.

If you have a toolbar where the icons are an even amount of pixels in width,

then there will be a difference in the space width on the left and right side of the icon

on the buttons, which I find rather annoying.

So if there would be a option in like Advanced Options,

called something like: gui.plus_one_pixel

It would be really nice it this request could be made :D

If that's true (I don't have such a theme to check with) then it doesn't need an option, it should just be set as if your option was always active for even-widths. No reason to have an option that basically means "gui.look_uglier". ;)

ok, instead of plus one pixel option, µTorrent should automatically on start,

sence how wide the icons is and make so that the spaces on the left and right side is equal.

Like buttons are 24x24, max size of icons is 24x24, so if a icon is 20x20,

the spaces on the left and right should be 2 pixels. Well, if the icons

has an even number of pixels in width, the button can stay in the same width,

but if the the icons are a odd number of pixels in width,

then the button should become either 1 wider or shink the width with 1 pixel,

depends on what looks the best.

how about the maker of the icons just makes the icons 24x24 and sets the blank space on either side appropriately?

IMO this is not a µT issue, the only thing I think µT should/could be doing is making sure that the icon is exactly 24x24..

Right now, µTorrent doesn't change the size of the button to fit the icons +

blank space isn't possible to do because purple(invisible) background the .bmp has.

lol, I said wrong, a button is 29x28 (+ 2 pixels if you count the edges).

So you see the buttons aren't an even number of pixels in width,

most likely because ludde tried to fit the button after the default theme :P

So either a option to add +/- one pixel or that µTorrent should check if the icons

either has an even number of pixels or if they has a odd number of pixels,

if the icons does have an even number of pixels, then µTorrent should remove 1 pixel in width.

I don't quite understand what you're saying, but I still think that there is a better way to fix the problem than having µTorrent manipulate the icon as part of the program.

IMO, we should change the icon size, and force it to be that size, rather than adding/removing one pixel.

I didn't say µTorrent should change the icon size, but the button size. ;)

the icons size is already forced, the max size of the icons are 24x24.

Ok. A button is 31x30 in size, the surface is 29x28.

If a icon with even number of pixels in width, like 22x22 for example,

then there will be 6 pixels to the left and 7 pixels to the right of the icon.

So if a icon has an even number of pixels in width, like 22x22 for example,

the button should become 28x28 (30x30 if you include the edges of the button).

*sigh* people misunderstand what I say.

If a icon has even number of pixels,

then the button should have an even number of pixels

But if a icon has odd/uneven number of pixels,

then the button should have an odd/uneven number of pixels

For example:

Icon is 22x22, then the button should become 28x28

But if icon is 23x22, then the button should become 29x28.

The button should shape it self after the button with +/- 1 pixel

depending on if the width of the button is an even number or a odd/uneven number.

This should be made when µTorrent starts.
