port forwarding

right basically im a total n00b and utorrent is not working for me anymore and it appears to be a port forwarding issue

i have been using utorrent for an awful long time and never had any problems before.. then i installed hijakthis to remove aload of stuff i didnt want and after i did it.. utorrent stopped working

for a while msn and any sign in pages didnt work either but i managed to sort that out

i went on the port forwarding link from the utorrent speed test thing and followed all the steps.. when i went to reconnect after completing the steps speedtouch wouldnt connect me

if someone could help me out that would be great

... OK uhm, what steps did you change? And what did you remove with HJT? Generally speaking, as long as your forwarding rule is still intact on your modem / router you should still be good to go. That is in-case you don't have a software firewall or other security suite which mangles / inspects internet packets.
