jewelisheaven
Be sure _ is interpreted correctly NOT "VA*" should cover it
Ultima
Indeed, if it starts with va, I don't see why you'd need a wildcard in front of it. If that does turn out to be the problem, though, I think it does sound like a bug (since the * wildcard should also contain the empty set). jewelisheaven
Ignore * means accept all.
Ultima
I know... "All" includes "nothing," meaning *VA* incldes VA* (which has nothing in front), and that's what I meant by it "containing the empty set." By this reasoning, if VA* works, but *VA* doesn't, then it sounds like buggy/incorrect behavior.Note: I do tend to think this isn't the source of the problem, though... jewelisheaven
AHH! Yes. Understood. For some reason I've had to re-read logic puzzles this week. But I finally see how *ANYTHING* works as a block. i.e. dir/s *.* is a recursive search and list of all files; dir/s ut*.* is a recursive list and search of all files starting with ut; whereas dir/s *t*.* returns ONLY those files with t in the filename. Files without 't' in the filename are not returned. In this case eldust, PLEASE check your feed... and see whether VA* excludes those items you do not want. Additionally verify *VA* excludes the SAME items as well as items with "va" not prepending the titles of the entries, such as "evangelize" "evangelion" "eva"... you get the idea
