avocadoflavo
After searching thru utorrent forums and FAQs moderatly I decide to post. I was installing acrobat reader on my machine and the updater asked me if I wanted to activate an option that enable the download only id my internet connection is idling. Now that made me remember how frustrating and delaying it can be to surf on my browser while my utorrent is peaking and using all my DSL flow. Could there be an option in utorrent that makes an exeption to the seeding/uploading limit when using IE or MFF ?P.-S.: I know about the scheduler's
Firon
Frequently rejected request. If you limit your upload properly (70-80% of your max), you won't ever NEED such a feature, either.
jewelisheaven
If the consistent upload is causing trouble, try lowering it in increments of 10% at a time to see if you can get a better flow. By default the Speed Guide (Ctrl-G) sets to ~ 80% but some people need to go as low as 50% of theoretical maximum usage to keep downloading and uploading and browsing consistently. Switeck
Some forms of low-end A/DSL actually share bandwidth between download and upload. If upload is maxed out, download max at that time is drastically reduced.

avocadoflavo
How about a feature that automatically adjust bandwidth when using specific applications, wouldn't that be great
